Family Christmas Photo

We have a family photo tradition. Everyone agrees to pose nicely for all my traditional family group photos. Once I am satisfied then we do our "silly" shot. I have started this tradition with some of my professional work-people love it! Here is our before and after.

More Wintery Photos

Jacob & Ben dug for hours last night to build a snow cave. Ben managed to spend the whole night in it! This morning we all awoke to another 6 inches or more! We've had plenty of food, but Mike is anxious to drive around a bit today and maybe even get Jacob home. Technically today is our Christmas eve but I am not sure if family will be able to make it tomorrow-time to improvise I guess. Here are some photos from this morning. I plan on heading out for more around the neighborhood later.

Arctic Blast '08

Here are some photos from our wintery weather this week. With such constant wind I didn't venture out much today. All the kids and nephew Jacob played outside this afternoon and evening. They built a ramp from Mike's truck down into the driveway. Mike and I stayed in warm with Libby and fresh chocolate oatmeal cookies :) Tomorrow the kids are heading back to the neighboors to sled down their perfect hill. I hope to take more photos tomorrow, make leftover turkey soup, watch one of the several movies we rented, and enjoy vacation with the fam!
