We took the whole family to the Big Island of Hawaii this summer! Here are some things we learned:
--Sea urchins can leave slivers.
--Jelly fish stings can feel like slivers.
--The days are backwards-early morning is hot and sunny then afternoon is cloudy and cooler.
--Green geckos are cool, they chirp and they are everywhere!
--Turtles are called Honu-and they are much bigger when you are floating above them than they look like from land.
--"Mahalo" means Thank You.
--Turkeys do not say "gobble gobble".
--Hawaiian's love their vowels.
--Bubba Gumps serves yummy food, be ready to answer movie trivia.
I will post a few pictures of our stay-as soon as I can. Mahalo!
